AT&T's U-Verse available in some Northern California areas
AT&T said it would roll out its IPTV service by the end of the year in 15 markets and technically it squeaked in to my area with 6 days to spare. U-Verse is now available in limited areas of Silicon Valley and San Francisco. Prior to today, U-Verse has only been available in San Antonio and parts of Houston.

The service is being reported available in certain neighborhoods in the cities of San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino and Saratoga. Further north, U-verse TV services will be available in limited areas across the San Francisco-Oaklandlinks-Fremont metropolitan statistical area, including parts of the cities of San Ramon and Danville.

AT&T also announced a promotion running through March 31 that offers new customers free U-Verse TV subscriptions, including HBO and Cinemax, for the first two months when they choose the U300 or U400 programming package.
