Comcast to improve system further
At the cable show in Las Vegas, Comcast disclosed that it may be investing another $6 Billion in system upgrades. That would fall in line with comments made by Comcast COO Stephen Burke. He said the company is planning to commit more resources to new internet content services, video-on-demand features and other multiplatform innovations.
He predicted more day-in-Date Movie releases (where DVDs and VOD movies are released the same day) and a time when all prime time programming would be made available on demand.
