Consumer Electronics Association Study Says Consumers will do Nothing for Digital TV
Filed in archive HDTV on November 12, 2007

A recent Consumer Electronics Association, (CEA), study shows that 22% of analog TV owners plan to do nothing once the Digital Television and Public Safety Act takes effect on 2/17/2009.
The federal government will require local broadcast stations to stop transmitting analog signals in February 2009. Based on the same Consumer Electronics Association, (CEA) study, another 33% of consumers will use a government-issued $40 coupon to purchase a digital-to-analog converter box to continue receiving over-the-air broadcast signals. What will you do? Please comment and let us know.
