If a beer bottle spills in the forest and there is no one to see it, does it still count as waste?

Bud.TV, had high hopes in the Internet video space. When it launched, there were reports to expect 2 million to 3 million unique monthly visitors by next February. The beer executives announced high-profile deals for shows with he likes of actors Vince Vaughn and Kevin Spacey, sportscaster Joe Buck and racecar driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.

But quickly, Anheuser-Buschlinks reduced expectations to only half a million, saying that their hopes had gotten ahead of themselves. ComScore Media Metrix recorded 253,000 unique visitors for the site during February, then falling off to 152,000 during March. By April, the number had fallen so low, that exact numbers were not reported.

But we have this little tidbit: The ratings service Quantcast called Bud.TV the 140,770th busiest site on the web. In case you were wondering, that is one notch below the wall-covering outlet York Wall which ranks 140,669th and one notch ahead of the porn site Hot Wife TV which ranked 140,771st.
