Deutsche Telekom Launches IPTV on Microsoft Platform

Woo, woo!

T-Com, a unit of telecom operator Deutsche Telekom, announced the commercial launch of its T-Home service. This includes TV services delivered via the Microsoft TV IPTV Edition software platform.

The TV service provides more than 100 free and pay channels, including content from German broadcasters ARD, ZDF and RTL, as well as cable channels including Planet TV, The history channel and Gusto TV.

The service's video-on-demand feature offers movies from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, NBC Universal, Paramount Motion Picture Group, Sony Pictures, Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros.

If anyone wants to pay me to travel to Germany to check it out, I may be amenable.
