Everstream Unveils Corporate Expansion Plan
I am very interested in VOD measurement and television ratings. To the best of my experience, three companies are trying to do something about that: Nielsen, Rentrak, and Everstream.

Everstream's main software platform is called 'DataSuite' and is comprised of gateways that extract usage information at the edge of the network, and an in-house centralized data repository which the company says provides secure data management and storage. The company says that DataSuite is currently gathering information from over 18 million DTV subscribers in 180 markets.

Last year, VOD equipment provider, Concurrent Computer, acquired them.

Tracy Swedlow's ITVT newsletter is reporting that Everstream has announced a corporate expansion plan, which it says will see it increasing its Cleveland-based staff by 50% over the next six months and entering into new market segments through "technology innovations in media service measurement that will position the company as the next generation in television program ratings."
