Fox On Demand streams video on MySpace.com
aka, Fox admires AOL so much; it tries its own 'Walled Garden' idea

What to do, what to do.? Fox is a big name in sports programming and has a big line up for the upcoming October major league baseball playoffs. BUT it also has some new shows that recently debuted in September and it is difficult to sustain interest when the show goes off air.
What to do, what to do? I know: put the fall programming lineup on MySpace.com (at least the reruns of shows already aired) and call the new service Fox On Demand.
Shows will be streamed in high definition with Fox's Full Throttle video player and you will likely have to endure a 15-second pre-roll ad before seeing the video. The shows includes previously seen episodes of "Bones," "Prison Break," "Standoff," "Vanished," "Talk Show With Spike Feresten," "'Til Death," "The Loop," and "Justice."
Fox's hope is that the Fox on Demand lineup will maintain the shows' momentum until the network resumes its regular entertainment prime-time schedule in November.

Interesting concept to give viewers an option to catch up on favorite programs while the MLB playoffs and other sports events are on. I’m interested in hearing about the quality of the experience. I know a new player is required, but it sounds like it provides an improved streaming experience.

I am not a member of MySpace, so I do not know what the quality is. However, I suspect you are correct and it does provided a good streaming experience.
Has anyone tried it out and can you leave us a clue?
