Google in Video Talks with Dow Jones, Others: NYT

Last month, Google said it intended to syndicate video clips. This would allow companies to spread their clips across the Internet to other sites while monetizing them with ad support by Google. Back then, the hullabaloo focused on MTV Networks showing a narrow set of video that included Sponge Bob Squarepants and other content.

But a Rueters report in the NY Times had a little story today that reminded us of that but added a new twist: Conde Nast and dow jones are also participating in the program.

And this is probably not a second too soon because the spat between Google YouTube and MTV Viacom has not been too kind to Google.
