Gore Taps MSN For ‘Live Earth’

I certainly hope that concerts combined with broadband video streaming onto computer monitors does not contribute to global warming.

Because if it does, then former Vice President Al Gore might want to re-think his most recent announcement for a worldwide day of concerts and events to raise awareness of global warming among more than 2 billion people.

The 24-hour concert known as Live Earth will be broadcast live in the U.S. on Internet portal MSN as well as on NBC and satellite radio stations Sirius and XM. Music acts slated to perform in concerts in seven cities globally on July 7 include Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, Duran Duran, Foo Fighters and Keane.

Kevin Wall, one of the organizers of the "Live 8" concerts to fight Third World poverty, will produce the event through his company Control Room. Proceeds from the concerts will go to fund The Alliance for Climate Protection, a group chaired by Gore.

Does anybody know, where the London concert will take place? Wembley or Hyde Park? In Some articles there is written that concert will take place in Wembley. So what is true?
