HDTV flat-panel televisions are almost as common as household toilet paper. So you can understand why you might not get a gasp of amazement these days when visitors to your home see your 42'' plasma television setup. Don't feel bad. HDTV product manufacturers are noticing the same lack of excitement for their new hardware releases and are 'rollin'' up their sleeves to get creative.

New product line-ups will include slimmer profiles and may even feature color-casings. A recent PC World article reports that televisions will be integrated into home entertainment networks and include features such as upgraded speakers and idock stations.
