Sex-less husband? Upgrade him!

Online video has changed the equation of what can be created and distributed economically. Basically, it has broadened the base what we can watch -- and some of it is high-quality stuff that would never make it onto television. At least that is the optimistic case.

Do you want more evidence? Try out delta airline's alliance with the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. The short story (pun intended) is that they are hosting a national short film competition called "Delta's Fly-In Movies." Delta has selected 5 short films that you are supposed to vote on.

It sounds lame. But I checked them out and the short movies are quite good. I've included one called 'High Maintenance' about Jane, who is unhappy with her dull husband. Thankfully, in the near-future, upgrades are always available.

The filmmaker with the highest rating wins an impressive prize package including $10,000 cash, a trip to Sundance, a pair of round-trip international tickets for any Delta flight, plus a $2500 Gen Art membership.
