While Sony sort of have thier tiny oled TV available, LG are the first to come through with real, solid plans about how the future of TV is going to roll. With Pioneer bowing out of the biz, the death knol for Plasma might not be far away, and that means quality junkies will have to find somewhere else to get their high contrast, flicker free viewing. OLED is the answer, as demonstrated by the positively sexual LG you see above. less than 1cm thick, and 15" accross, the screen supports full HD and apparently is just stunning to watch.
We look foward to it's availability (although not it's cost!) in the summer.

This is a bit of good news. Sony appears to be stalled, Pioneer is out, and no one else is stepping up to the OLED plate right away.
