Want more evidence that things are really changing. I offer this little nugget:

U.S. Rep. George Miller (D-CA) became the first member of the House of Representatives to launch his own Facebook application. The SplashCast widget allows Facebook users place Miller TV, the congressman's branded video channel, on their profile pages with the click of a mouse.
