More video from everyday people in the next 4 years
Last year, all you folks who uploaded some original video clip just to share your genius with the rest of the world accounted for 47% of online video. If you think that is already too much, then prepare yourself for the results of a report by research firm Screen Digest, which says that userlinks generated video will grow to 55% of the market by the end of 2010

No wonder Time Magazine said that you (yes, YOU) were the persons of the year for 2006. But don't expect to get rich because our videos may get only 15% of overall video ad revenue by 2010, the report states.

Screen Digest predicts that ad revenue for user-generated video will grow to $900 million in 2010 from $200 million in 2006 compared to overall video ad revenue of $6.2 billion in 2010, up from $1.2 billion in 2006--maintaining roughly the same proportion over the four years of traffic growth.
