NBC Shows on your cell phone

I might also have a bridge to sell you

We have news that NBC Universal will start selling episodes of "Heroes," "The Office," "monk," "Battlestar Galactica" and other full-length TV shows to wireless users that subscribe to MobiTV.

Count me as skeptical.

For one thing, the shows are expensive compared to other value propositions – going for a minimum of $1.99 per episode, which will buy users only a 24-hour viewing period.

So let's see if we have this correct. You can watch those shows for free on television. You can pay a maximum of $1.99 to watch those shows in Apple iTunes and own the show. Or you can pay more than that to rent it for 1-day and view it on a tiny screen while your arm gets tired.
