NFL To Offer Live Games Online

Filed in archive Internet TV by martino on December 02, 2006

and I ask why even bother?

At first glance, when I read that the NFL was going to broadcast games online, I said to myself: 'self, the readers of my blog just might be interested.'

Instead, I found that you can watch IF the following apply to you:
care about only one of six games they will air, AND

you must have DirecTV through Verizonlinks OR

have BOTH Verizon's FiOS TV and Verizon Internet services

All together that means that the maximum number of potential viewers is about 344,000 customers.

Eligible consumers will be able to log on to the surround.verizon.net site "around the globe" to watch the games.to watch the games.
