The web-enabled PZ850 series of the first generation Panasonic Viera series Plasma HDTVs will be available in the States this spring.
The new VIERA HDTV's, equipped with VIERA Cast, provides instant access to millions of videos from YouTube and instant access to Picasa Web Albums, (Google's free online photo-sharing service). The Panasonic VIERA CAST interface will allow consumers to easily browse, search, and view YouTube and Picasa Web Albums content.
The partnership with Panasonic is part of YouTube's plans to give YouTube and Picasa users a high definition television view of their user generated online content.
