Toshiba and Microsoft Deny X-Box HD DVD player
Filed in archive DVD Media on November 12, 2007

A sure way for Toshiba to end the HD DVD vs. Blu-ray battle war is to follow-through with this rumor that they're joining forces with Microsoft to release an X-Box with HD dvd player. Tech website dealerscope.com reported this story earlier this week.
Sony has the current HD format advantage via their Playstation 3 gaming console which includes an integrated built-in Blu-ray DVD player. Consumers looking to get into the high definition DVD market already have an advantage if they own a Playstation 3.
