When 65 employees can create $1.65 Billion worth of value that Google wants to buy, is it any wonder that everyone asks 'how can I do that?'

Wait a minute, how about mixing summer vacations, travel, video, social-networking, tagging, and user profiles!!! Talk about being Web 2.0 compliant. Oh, darn. That just got launched today under the name Travelistic. The only thing their missing are a few Google maps mash-ups.

More direct competitors include travel video sites such as TurnHere and 43 Places.
