Verizon IPTV now targeting Tampa
Filed in archive IPTV on October 24, 2006
Verizon has been much more aggressive than AT&T in pushing its IPTV service (which is called FiOS). Well, today it is targeting you folks in Tampa that are currently Bright House Network customers.
The bundle they are offering is called Verizon Complete Freedom. Now, how can you not stand up and salute that?
This bundle is a quadruple play. In other words, it allows consumers to buy wired and wireless telephone services; Verizon DSL or FiOS Internet service, where available; and FiOS video or DirecTV direct-broadcast satellite service, where available.
Buying all four services does get you a discount. In the Tampa market, the pricing for the four-service bundle will start at $142.92 per month.
In response, Bright House plans to introduce cellular service for inclusion in its bundle, but it has yet to launch that product.
