Verizon, YouTube to bring Web Video to Cell Phones
According to the Wall Street Journal, Verizon is in advanced talks with YouTube to bring the Web site's video to cell phones. If this deal happens, it could be finalized within weeks.

You got a tip-off last week when I posted some idle musing from the Chad'ster during an advertising conference.

This is just the type of innovation that America no, the World needs. Everyone should be able to watch the latest video of a stupid cat trick or diet cokelinks/Mentos explosion while mobile. Woo, woo!

And I'm sure I speak for all of us interested folks when I say that we really, really want to see an advertisement appended to that cat video, too. Woo, woo!

But I do wonder about one thing. Since Verizon's V Cast service already shows clips from major media companies and networks such as MTV, ESPN, and ABC; would watching those same clips illegally posted at YouTube be legal?
