Whole Home High Definition DVR Available From DirecTV

The battle between cable and satellite programming providers to attract digital High Definition TV viewers has been taken to the next level by DirecTV.

There's no end, it seems, to the number and types of services that cable TV and satellite TV providers have to offer, and the list keeps growing. In fact I shudder to think of how high my already burgeoning ISP/TV Provider's bill would be if I subscribed to all the goodies.

For satellite TV fans, or those about to be, DirecTV is now offering a cool option, a whole house high definition DVR.

Here's part of what "HDTV Magazine" says about this gadget: "you get a box that will let you record up to two shows at once, and watch up to two shows on different televisions at once. And all this can be going on at the same time. You can manage your DVR recordings and schedule from any TV in the house, and even pause a show in one room and then go continue to watch it in another"

Working at DISH network, I like to stay on top of new things from providers, just because I love technology, I like seeing what new things everyone can come out with. This just doesn’t trip my technology trigger. I can’t see going to a provider that has higher price’s just to be able to watch a dvr in more then 1 room that I cant’ even fast forward through the commercial, and on top of that, the latest Trends have been going towards TV Everywhere, not TV still shackled to the tv. Which is why I like the sling adapter, it allows me to watched my recorded DVR’s anywhere, on my computer, laptop, mobile device, and it didn’t cost me anymore a month, and apparently its the same price as Directv customer will pay fro each on of their HD receivers they need.
