Yahoo and Intel both hope to woo the world with Internet TV
Internet TV, as I've talked about in the past, just doesn't seem to be happening. People don't like the idea of it, they'd rather be on a sofa, sitting with loved ones and snacking on sweets.
However, Intel, processor giant, and Yahoo, search giant have decided it is still worth persuing, although in a slightly different manner. They want to make TVs with internet capabilities that allow the sets to watch both normal and internet TV, along with various other features involving Yahoos widget system, allowing viewing of photos the like from.
Good idea? we'll see.
