Yet another statistic to show Women and Men are different
There are an estimated 97 Million females online in the US this year, compared to 91 Million males. But ask who is watching online video and the stats reverse.
Apparently, 71.2% of males watch online videos in 2006 but only 55% of females do. Those percentages narrow in future years as 88.8% of men are expected to watch online video by 2011 compared to 84.6% of women. At least that is what eMarketer says.
I find that a mildly interesting statistic. So it is logical to ask what females choose to watch since they are disproportionally represented. It turns out they prefer movie previews (47.8% of women vs 35.8% of men).
